The Houseboats are unique in the world or only in the Kashmir & no where in the universe. The Houseboats where born  when British traveled Kashmir for theirs summer holidays before 1947, the boats they were using in Kashmir use to call “ Dunga” change in the generation & incoming tourism had modified Dunga into a modern Houseboat as equal ant to Five Star Hotels with out swing pools, having natural swing pools like Dal Lake with full of \ spring n snow water.

Many tourists are attracted to Srinagar by the charm of staying on a houseboat, which provides the unique experience of living on the water in a cedar-paneled elegant bedroom, with all the conveniences of a luxury hotel. Some overlook the main road like ours, look out onto lotus gardens. Our all houseboats, regardless of category, have highly personalized service. Not only is there always a “houseboy” for every boat, but the owner and his family are never far away. Every standard houseboat provides a balcony in the front, a lounge, dining room, pantry and 3 or more bedrooms with attached bathrooms. We also own a Group of Houseboats with 21 Double rooms (17 Delux rooms & 4 Premium rooms) connected with bridge known as Kolu Group having modern facilities like T.V., Phone, Fridge, Mini bars, Coffee makers in bed rooms. Virtually every houseboat in Srinagar has been provided with a municipal water connection.
